1. What is web email?
A web-based email, such as WebMail, is email that you receive and send via the Internet WITHOUT having to access or define POP or IMAP servers through a special program. All you need to send and receive mail is a connection to the Internet and a browser (like Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, etc.) with which you can access URLs. Instead of using a special email program, all of your email tasks are performed while you are connected to the site. Since all your settings are stored on the site, all you need to do is login with your name and password.

2. What is POP/IMAP?
The POP/IMAP Access feature lets you access your incoming messages on the Bigfoot mail server from different client platforms. It collects email periodically using your mail "client" program such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Eudora to connect to the Bigfoot server and download all your pending mails to your PC. In simple terms, POP/IMAP is an email collector that harvest email from other programs and compiles them for easy, one-time access.

3. How do I set up POP/IMAP?
To set up POP/IMAP Access for your Bigfoot account, enter your Bigfoot POP account information below in your email client program.

Password Your account password

Please note that how you enter your POP account information will vary according to the program, and sometimes even vary by the version.

4. Why use WebMail?
Instead of being bound to a particular locale, you can get your email from ANYWHERE, without having to remember server names or have special software. All you need is an Internet access, a web browser and a WebMail account. Check your mails while you're on the road at places with Internet connections. You can even access your account from the comfort of your home. WebMail makes email TRULY portable, convenient, and, above all, EASY.

5. Is WebMail private?
